<div itemprop="description">Rockwell, Alice &ldquo;Sylvia&rdquo;-85, of Lower Sackville, with her loving family by her side, went home to be with her Lord on Friday May 16, 2104 <br /> <br />Born in Somerset, England, she was the daughter of the late Lily and William Tarr. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who had a strong faith and a profound impact on all those who had the privilege of being part of her life, especially her grandchildren who had given her such joy. She was grateful to her church family who she loved dearly and was thankful for their love and support <br /> <br />Sylvia is survived by daughter, Sharon (David) Yeadon, Halifax; sons, Lewis (Sally) Rockwell, PEI, Sheldon (Karen) Rockwell, Lower Sackville, David (Devon) Rockwell, Lower Sackville; brother, Glyn Tarr, England, grandchildren, Christa, Glynn, Sarah, Jason, Laura, Amanda, Jessica, Samantha, Benjamin, Christine, Monique, Taylor, Andrew, Alex, Emily, Christopher; and numerous great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. <br /> <br />She was predeceased by her husband of 34 years, Harold &ldquo;Murray&rdquo;; sisters, Irene, and Audrey. <br />Visitation will be held from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on Monday May 19th with a funeral service 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 20th both in Stoneridge Fellowship, 85 Temple Terrace, Lower Sackville, at 11 am with Pastor Donald Calder officiating. Reception will be held in the church hall following the service. Burial to take place at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. <br /> <br />Mom has left a tremendous legacy. thank you all for your love and beautiful friendship over the years. <br /> <br />In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Stoneridge Building Fund. <br />Online condolences may be made by visiting www.atlanticfuneralhomes.com, Sackville Chapel. <br /> <br /></div>
