Veinotte, Alice Maude age 84 of Lower Sackville passed away February 19, 2015, peacefully surrounded by family in Windsor Regional Hospital. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Florence Allen (Newcombe). She was Nanny to all and loved time with family and friends. Whether playing cards, attending a hockey tournament or just hanging out. She always told stories of her amazing memories of Camp – bonfires, parties, golfing and lots of laughs. She remembered fondly all her years of bowling and the friends she made there. She especially loved her Thursdays out with her best friend/ sister Florence. To her last breath she was remembering her many great vacations: Alaska, Vegas, Florida, etc … and wanted so badly to go on just one more. Last but not least she very much enjoyed tending to everyone. Weather making them breakfast, doing laundry or handing one of the kids five dollars. She was predeceased by husband, Harry “Weiner”; sister, Elsie Schwab (Chuck); brother, Jack Allen (Hilda) and great-grandson, Liam. Alice is survived by her children, Linda Stone (Edward), Lorraine Dalby (Terry) and Russell Veinotte (Andrea).
