<div itemprop="description">NICHOLSON, Allan Frederick of BeaverBank, Nova Scotia passed away suddenly after a short battle with a very aggressive cancer of the blood. He was born in Rockingham, Nova Scotia son to Pearl (Ludlow) and Woodbury Nicholson who were long time school teachers and school principal in the Kinsac area. He then went on to Acadia University before embarking on a life at sea, from Stuart at BIO to Chief Officer and Dymnamic Positioning UNLTD with McDermott Canada. He was predeceaced by Janice (MacDonald) Nicholson, both of his parents, Pearl (Ludlow) and Woodbury Nicholson. He is survived by sons Sean (Alberta) and Brendan (Beaverbank), long- time girlfriend and partner, Margaret Deazley (Lower Sackville), brother Kevin (Angie) Nicholson (Beaverbank), sister Cheryl (Mike) Parker (Fall River), brother-in-law David (Darlene) MacDonald, grandchildren who were the absolute light of his life, Payton, Mason, Cohen and Lukas, several nephews and a niece, and an extended family that reached to everyone blessed enough to have ever met him. This was a man who truly loved every aspect of life to the fullest and it is important to focus not on his tragic end but to celebrate the truly amazing life he lived. Please join us in a Celebration of Allan Nicholsons&rsquo; life at the Waverley Legion, Rocky Lake, Satuday, December 14 at 6 pm for family and 7 pm for all. &ldquo;LONG MAY YOUR BIG JIB DRAW, KEEP THE WIND AT YOUR BACK&rdquo;</div>
