<div itemprop="description">Douglas, Allan James “Jim” - It is with heavy hearts with announce the passing of Jim, Age 62 of Lower Sackville, NS passed away at the QEH hospital on July 8, 2016 surrounded by loving family. Youngest son of the late Curtis and Hannah (Jenny) Douglas. He is survived by wife, Lynda (McNeil); children, Kayla, Stephen (Suzanne) & Melissa; brothers, Albert (Helen), George (Audrey), Gerry (Darlene) & sister, Joy; grandsons, Parker & Preston; many nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Joe and sister, Margaret. Jim was an all-around family man, who always carried a contagious positive outlook. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Thursday July 14, 2016 from 7-9pm at Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr., Lower Sackville where a celebration of Life service will be held Friday July 15, at 1pm. Pastor Keith Wells officiating. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the QEII Halifax Infirmary hospital for their care & kindness. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation.</div>
