<div itemprop="description">Amanda MacLean, 36, of Lower Sackville NS lost her battle of 2 years to cancer and passed away peacefully surrounded by family and close friends on November 12th, 2016. <br>Amanda loved to travel and enjoyed bingo and shopping trips to the US, as well as excursions to PEI, Cape Breton, Mexico, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic. She adored her family and friends and was always there to help, give advice, listen and spend time together. Amanda loved animals – especially cats; sadly, leaves her special boy, Louis, behind. <br>Amanda is survived by her loving parents Gus MacLean, of Lwr Washabuck NS, and Cathy & Dave Gough, of Lwr Sackville NS; big sister Niki & Carl Fear; nephew Joe King; nieces Sammie King, Sarah King and Kahlan Fear; grand niece Nyla King and grandfather George Gough. She also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends including her special girls who have been there every day for more than 20 years – Heather, Nicole, Hyson, Dunfield, Melissa, Terri and Lisa. <br>Amanda is cherished by many and loved by all. <br> <br>Funeral service will be held at St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, Bedford Friday November 18th at 2pm. <br>A gathering to celebrate her life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #162, Lower Sackville Friday, November 18th from 3-5pm. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to an animal rescue of your choice. <br> <br>As long as I’m living, you will live. <br>As long as I’m living, you are loved. <br>As long as I’m living, you will be remembered. <br></div>
