<div itemprop="description"><br />1942-2016 <br />Annette Lorraine Wright (Doucette) 74 of Bedford Nova Scotia passed away peacefully at her home after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday March 25, 2016 surrounded by her loving family and close friends. <br />Born in Tuffs Cove, Dartmouth NS she was the daughter of the late Evelyn Bonvie and John Doucette. <br />At the age of 15 Annette took a hairdressing course and worked many years in that profession. For the next 30 plus years Annette worked as a Personal care worker at the Scotia Nursing Home and Northwood. <br /> She is survived by her husband of 55 years Blaine Wright, three children Pamela Duguay, Petit Rocher NB (Jean Marc), Bruce Wright, Beaver Bank NS (Maxine) and Judy McPhee, Lakelands and six grandchildren, Janelle, Erica and Marco( Duguay) Adam and Philip (Wright) and Hannah(McPhee). Also survived by sister Shirley Bonvie (Ontario), Brother Douglas Bonvie ( Nova Scotia). <br />She was pre-deceased by her mother Evelyn, father John and 3 sisters Beverly, Glenda and Lynn. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Annette was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. What brought her the most joy were her children and grandchildren. Annette was always helping and taking care of people. She was best known for her kindness, sense of humour, wit and selflessness. She loved working in the garden and the smell of lavender. One of her favourite vacations was her yearly state side shopping trip with her best friends. <br />One of Moms final wishes was to remain at home with family and friends during the last few months after learning of her illness.Her strength and the love and devotion of daughters Pam and Judy and son Bruce for his many visits and kind and reassuring words. Her son-in-law Jean Marc, her personal chef as Mom called him. Her wish was fulfilled. Thank you and God bless. <br />The family would like to send a very special thank you to Dr. Aiden Carey for his kindness and insight and the Palliative and VON teams for their support at home. A heartfelt thank you to Annette&rsquo;s best friend ever Dorothy McNeil for always being there. <br />Funeral arrangements are in the care of Atlantic Funeral Home 125 Sackville Drive in Lower Sackville Nova Scotia <br />Visitations will be Wednesday March 30 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm with the funeral service held at 2:00 pm Thursday March 31. Interment will be at a later date. <br />Family flowers only. Donations can be made in Annette&rsquo;s name to the Canadian Cancer Society.
