<div itemprop="description">FENERTY, Arthur John &quot;Jack&quot;, 82 of Middle Sackville, passed away May 25th. Born and raised in Middle Sackville, he was the son of the late Laurie and Minnie (Hubley) Fenerty. The Fenerty family owned and operated&nbsp; a mill on Springfield Lake. In 1956 Jack started one of the first subdivisions in Sackville, which continues to develop today. He owned and operated his own companies in construction, excavation and trucking. Jack was very community minded and he and his family took pride in giving back to their community. Jack was a member of the Liberal Association for many years and enjoyed hunting fishing and snowmobiling. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, the former Joan Benoit; sons Brian (Debbie Chisholm) Fenerty, Middle Sackville, John (Lynne) Fenerty, Middle Sackville; grandchildren Jennifer, Jeffrey, James Fenerty. Jack was predeceased by sisters Jean and Gertrude &quot;Trudi&quot;. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Drive on Wednesday May 30th from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service will be Thursday May 31st at 1100 am at St. John Vianny RC Church, Lower Sackville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the QE II Foundation - Dialysis Unit. Heartfelt thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at the Dialysis Unit and the QE II Infirmary 4.1.
