It is with great sadness to announce the sudden passing of Bernie at the age of 67 on September 19, 2015. Born in Halifax, NS on January 19, 1948. He was the son Theresa Agnes (Sampson) , Halifax, and the late George Lewis Norman Bernie will be greatly missed by his sister Marie Drake and his niece and goddaughter Patricia Sawler, Great Nephew, Nathan Sawler and the many cousins, relatives, and friends. Bernie retired from Ben’s Bakery now known as Canada Bread. In his younger days Bernie was active with the Ben’s social club, loved sports and to travel to Havre Boucher to have a good time with his cousins. Cremation has taken place and there will be a service on Monday September 28th, at 10 am, Atlantic Funeral Home 125 Sackville Drive, Burial and Reception to follow.
