<div itemprop="description">Robertson, Betty (nee Martin), age 93 of Enfield, Nova Scotia was surrounded by her loving family when she passed away on September 2, 2016 at the Magnolia Continuing Care Community. Betty was born in Birmingham, England, the daughter of William and Nellie Martin. As a war bride, Betty bravely crossed the Atlantic Ocean landing at Pier 21 in Halifax, where she continued to live a long life, full of love and adventure. Betty’s warm smile and genuine kindness was extended to every person (and animal) that she encountered. She was predeceased by her husband John Robertson, and survived by what she considered her greatest accomplishments, her children; Dean (Crystal) Perry of Lower Sackville, Kim (Bob) Lively of Enfield, Karen (Mike) Conrad of Barre, Vermont and Malcolm Robertson of Dryden, Ontario. She was also very proud of her 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 1 pm until the time of the memorial service at 2 pm Wednesday September 7th at Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr., Lower Sackville. Reverend Canon David Fletcher officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens, Pictou County. A special thanks to the staff of the Magnolia who provided Betty with comfort, dignity and kindness in her final years of life. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Hope for Wildlife or your local chapter of the SPCA.</div>
