<div itemprop="description">Ryan, Bonnie (Catherine Bonita) Age 49. Bonnie passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on December 11, 2013. Bonnie was born in Toronto, Ontario on March 20th 1964. She was the daughter of Robert Michael MacKinnon (Marieta MacKinnon) and Florence MacKinnon (Howlett). She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Jerome (Jerry) and her three wonderful sons, Shawn Michael (Stephanie Fung), Dylan Alexander, and Eric William Ryan. She is also survived by brothers, Derrick and Blair MacKinnon and sister Kimberly, aunts and uncles, Tena, Bernie, Steven, John, Mary, her brothers and sister in laws, Diane Boone (Cyril), Ted, John and Harold Ryan, and her nieces and nephews, Ryan, Joshua, Juston, April and Corey. Bonnie was a loving mother and devoted wife, she was passionate about her work with special needs children and dedicated her life to helping others. &ldquo;Beaver Bank Bonnie&rsquo;s&rdquo; many projects over the years have accomplished great things for those that share her community. Small in stature and big in heart, Bonnie&rsquo;s resiliency and courage throughout her illness inspired many. Her feisty, selfless and charismatic personality left a mark with everyone she met. The silence of her infectious laugh leaves us with profound sadness and broken hearts. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 16 from 1-3pm at the Atlantic Funeral Home, Lower Sackville. A funeral service will be held after the visitation at 4pm at St John Vianney Catholic Church, Lower Sackville. A celebration and reception will immediately follow the funeral at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Beaver Bank. All are welcome. A private burial for the family will take place at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to Autism Nova Scotia.</div>
