<div itemprop="description">Patton, Charles Robert (Bob), age 65, passed away unexpectedly March 14, 2015 at the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax N.S. Born May 14, 1949 to the late Gertrude (Pettipas) and Harry Patton in Halifax, N.S. He worked as a Constable with the Halifax Police Department , as an RCMP officer, and retired after 30 years of service in Security and Investigations at Canada Post, in addition to numerous post-retirement part-time jobs to keep him active and young at heart. <br />He was an avid and tireless volunteer of all activities his children were involved in, including minor hockey, soccer, ringette, and Cub Scouts. He will always be remembered for his selfless devotion to his loved ones. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Judy (Baglole), son Eric Robert (Laura), daughter Jo-ann Nicole, his two grandchildren Charlee Ann and Cohen Robert, and brothers Eric, Paul, John, Jim, and sister Mary (Lannan), as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by daughter Mary, brothers Donald, Raymond, Ivan, and Peter. No visitation. A funeral service will be held at St. John Vianney Roman Catholic Church, corner of Sackville Drive and Beaverbank Road, Lower Sackville on Thursday March 19th at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the church hall. Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville, at a later date. No flowers by request of the family.
