MCDOUGALL, CRAIG ANTHONY
Of Halifax/Canmore, passed away unexpectedly on July 10, 2016 at the age of 26. Craig was the beloved son of Michael Dawe McDougall (Doreen) and Charlene Jones (Mike Smuck). He will be deeply missed by his loving brother Jeremy McDougall, his maternal grandmother Florence Jones, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. A very special thank you to his aunts Phyllis and Theresa for their unwavering love and support. A heartfelt thank you to uncle Robert and aunt Colleen for their care and compassion during a difficult time. Predeceased by his paternal grandparents Daniel and Mary-Lou McDougall, and maternal grandfather George Jones. Craig attended Halifax West High School, he loved the mountains, hiking and the outdoors. He had an infectious sense of humour which was quite witty and “wacky” at times and he was a huge fan of Star Wars, Game of Thrones and the Simpsons; he loved reading, tampering with electronics and all kinds of music. Craig was a kind, loving and artistic man, he will be lovingly remembered for his eloquent ways, gentle spirit and his never ending curiosity. A Celebration of Craig’s Life will be held in Acadia Hall, Lower Sackville on Wednesday, August 17 at 7-9:30 p.m. For those wishing, donations to the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia would be appreciated.
