DERRICK WADE MAXWELL
December 10, 1967 – December 28, 2013.
It is with great sadness and heart break that we announce the sudden death of Derrick. He was the eldest son of Trudy (Benedict) Maxwell and the late Irvin Maxwell. He is survived by his loving companion Connie Amero of Bedford, his children; Kristen (Ryan) of Burlington NL and Kevin (Sally) of Edmonton AB and the children’s mother AngieWithrow along with his two brothers Shawn (Jo-ann) Upper Sackville and Jamie (Doug) of Dartmouth.
Derrick was employed by Duggan Electric at the time of his death. He was a very dedicated electrician for over 27 years. Along side his best friend Dwayne Armsworthy, you could always depend upon a job well done.
His proudest accomplishments were his beagles and his countless awards and ribbons through the Atlantic Beagle Club. He was an avid outdoors man; he loved fishing, bow hunting, tracking and four wheeling.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Drive. Cremation has taken place and the Funeral service will be held Sunday, January 5th at 2pm officiated by Rev. James Haughn. Reception to follow.
