Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side, on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at the age of 50. Beloved daughter of the late Herbert and Betty Vaughan. Companion of Daton Johnson. Loving sister of Larry (Carolyn), Kelly, Trevor (Shannon), Jamie and the late Wanda (Karl Farrell). Dear aunt of Scott, Jennifer, Danny, Katie, Megan, Aiden, and Lucas. Diane will be deeply missed by many dear friends and colleagues from the Halifax Airport. Diane was a devoted Montreal Canadiens fan and a lover of music, especially The Beatles. Diane was a rebel and full of fun, she enjoyed laughing and being with people, she was a friend to everyone. Diane will be met by Midnight and her dear friend Elmer where they will begin a new journey. A visitation for Diane will take place on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Atlantic Funeral Home Sackville Chapel, 125 Sackville Drive. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday in St. John's United Church, Fall River at 11 a.m. For those wishing, donations to the SPCA would be appreciated.
