<div itemprop="description">Edna Louise Oickle-Chenhall, 71, Dartmouth passed away February 4/15 surrounded by her loving husband and her children. Edna was born on June 15/43 in Tangier, she was the daughter to the late Murray and Cora Mason. She grew up in a very large family and told many stories about her childhood. Edna had so much passion for creativity, she was always working on a project, whether it was papertole or a tolepainting, or making curtains for a room she decided to remodel. She built a beautiful home, and always wanted it full of her family and friends. She had great pride and unconditional love for her family. &quot;All for the love of our children&quot;. She and Peter loved to travel, whether it was a few days in Toronto, Cape Breton or PEI, or if it was a cruise, or a trip down south or weekends at the camper. She loved every moment and lived every moment with joy. Edna was survived by her adoring husband Peter Chenhall (Dartmouth), and her children; Lorne (Dartmouth), Kevin (Holly) of Sackville, Denise of Dartmouth and Natasha of Dartmouth and her step children, Graham (Janet) from Cape Breton and Heather (Drew) from Prince Edward Island. She had 9 wonderful grandchildren, Justin, Joseph, Jacob, Ryan, Johnson, Hunter, Alex, Baiden and Davis; and beloved great grand-children, Bria, Allie, Sailor, Sam and Layla. Edna was predeceased by her first husband Calder Oickle, her sisters Marion and Barb and her daughter in law Nancy (Perry) Oickle. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors on Sunday February 8th from 3-5 in the Salvation Army Citadel Fairview, 50 Gesner Street, where the service will be 12:30 Monday. A reception will follow. Interment will be in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Edna's memory to The Sunshine Room, 11th floor, Victoria Building, West Wing - Room 11-017 at the QE II, VG Site.
