Eula Faye MacKay
March 1, 1946 - August 12, 2013
MacKAY (Kenney), Eula Faye-67, of Timberlea,
slipped away from us quietly in the early hours of August 12th, 2013. She will be sorely missed as Mom, Nanny, sister, aunt and friend.
She leaves behind her son , Peter (Allison); the apples of her eye, grandsons, Alexander and Jacob; sisters, Gladys, Laura, and Margaret; many nieces, nephews and countless friends, in particular, those she met at Timberlea Manor.
She follows her parents, Douglas and Laura Mae Kenney; brothers, Ronnie, and Calvin; and most recently her late husband, Emereth “Jr.” MacKay.
Eula is known by many for her volunteer work with the Timberlea Lioness and any other local organization which may have needed her. She worked many years with Beaver Foods and King’s College.
Cremation has taken place. No visitation by request. Service to be held Saturday August 17th at 1pm in St. Margaret’s Anglican Church, Sober Island, Sheet Harbour. All are welcome.
Online condolences may be made by visiting www.atlanticfuneralhomes.com, Sackville Chapel
It is hard to believe it went by so fast,
Just one more hug, we would make it last,
With broken hearts and ‘til only God knows when,
It is not goodbye, just ‘til we meet again…
