Passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at the age of 92. Beloved husband for 68 years of Edith Victoria (Sanford). Son of the late Harry V. and Annie (Drysdale). Loving father of Camilla, Lexine (Kevin Mack), Kim, and Tara (Donald Ganong). Devoted grandfather of Brendon (Gisele), Shane, and Joette (Robby Emerton) Briggs, Carley and Tyler Kynock, and Dorinda (Matthew Riley) and Joshua (Sarah) Hiltz and Zeth (Brandie) Brooks. Great-grandfather of nine. Dear brother of Murray (Jerry), Doreen (Buster Beazley), Carole (John Feetham) and predeceased by Cecil, Marguerite, Vivian, Graham, Iris, Audrey June, and Lorne. Royce will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. Among the many endeavors he was involved in, Royce was a founding charter member of various organizations and was instrumental in fundraising for the Cobequid Multi-Service Centre. Visitation will be held at the Atlantic Funeral Home Sackville Chapel, 125 Sackville Drive, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday at Rock Church, 222 Sackville Drive at 2 p.m. For those wishing, donations to the Sackville United Baptist Church Elevator Fund would be appreciated.
