A celebration of John's life will take place at the Anglican Cathedral on Church Hill in St. John's, NL on June 12th at 11:00 am. Following the service John will then be interned with his loving wife, Margaret, at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery on Topsail Road.
A reception will take place at The St. John's, NL Retirement Center on Bennett Avenue in St. John's from 3 to 6pm
In lieu of flowers please make a donations to the St. John's Retirement. Center on Bennett Avenue or the Anchormen Barbershop supported charity.

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Monday, November 24, 2014 at the age of 73. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (Murphy). Loving father of Anthony (Katherine), Kimberley (Alastair Galloway), Christopher (Sandra), and Candida (Eric Riche). Devoted grandfather of Angela (Bradley Davis), Nicholas (Lindsay Benner), Bradley (Carol Bradbury), Nicole (Jonathan McArdle), Christopher (Jessica Green), Kate-Nichelle (Bradley Butler), Christopher (Laura Deveaux), Michael (Samantha Sanders), Matthew (Kristyn Hollett), Samantha and Peter. Caring great-grandfather of Eloise and Oliver McArdle and Malakye Davis. John will be deeply missed by his dear friend Mary Nugent and his many friends in the Barbershop Quartet Community in Nova Scotia and St. John’s NL. John was born in St. John’s NL and moved to Nova Scotia in 2007 where he quickly became involved in volunteering at the Sackville Seniors Centre, he enjoyed walking every day, singing and making people laugh. A celebration of John's life willl take place at the St. Francis by the Lakes. 192 First Lake Dr, LR Sackville on Thursday, November 27 at 2 p.m. A special thank you to the staff of the QEII 8.2 for their care and compassion. For those wishing, donations to the Seniors Resource Centre, Sackville would be appreciated.
