Joseph Clarence Arsenault

Joseph Clarence Arsenault - 79, of Middle Sackville, passed away peacefully with his family at his bedside, on Thursday, December 15th. Born in Grand Etang, Cape Breton, he was the son of the late Joseph Calixte and Viola (Doucet). Clarence is survived by his loving wife Caroll (Carmichael), daughters Cathy (Keith) and Carrie; sister Theresa (Earl) in Ottawa; and grandson Kyle. He was pre-deceased by his son, Chris.
Clarence proudly achieved a 33 year career with Otis Elevators (United Technologies) and was a loyal brother of the IUEC local 125 during that time and into his retirement. Since retiring, Clarence stayed close to home, filling his days doing the things he loved to do.
Cremation has taken place; there will be no visitation. A memorial gathering is being planned for early spring 2017, at the Royal Canadian Legion Calais branch #162 in Lower Sackville, where Clarence maintained 38 years of continuous service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, or charity of your choice.
