PINEAU, Joseph Justin “Dusty”
Of Lower Sackville, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2014 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of 56 years to his sweetheart Jeannette. Loving father of Pauline (Joe Shanahan) and Nancy (Michael Faught). Cherished grandfather of Travis Faught who was his greatest joy. Dear brother of Cletus (Betty), Kenny, Debbie Cormier and Marlene (Wes McMullin). Dusty will be deeply missed by nieces, his nephew and extended family in Nova Scotia, P.E.I. and Ontario. Born in St. Mary’s, P.E.I he was the son of the late Aubin and Anne Pineau. Dusty loved to be with his cousins in P.E.I especially for family reunions. He loved parties in Nancy and Michael’s garage and visiting Pauline and Joe in Newfoundland. Dusty retired after working for many years from Volvo Canada where he attended their annual Christmas reunion’s each year.
A special thank you to the staff of the Halifax Infirmary 8.3 for their care and compassion. A funeral mass for Dusty will be held in St. John Vianney Church on Saturday, January 3 at 1 p.m. On-line condolences may be sent to www.atlanticfuneralhomes.com Sackville Chapel.
