<div itemprop="description">With heavy hearts the family of Kevin Patrick Wambolt are saddened to announce his sudden death at home in Lower Sackville on December 7th, 2013. Born in Halifax on March 13,1954 he was the son of the late Everett and Mildred Wambolt (Dulhanty). <br />Kevin was a graduate of Saint Mary&rsquo;s University and was employed by the Nova Scotia Department of Tourism. He loved his Toronto Maple Leafs and watching Nascar racing. He was a gentle, quiet, kind and compassionate man and had a real love for animals. Kevin was a loving brother who will be greatly missed by his family. <br />Kevin is survived by his sisters, Bernice Levy and Pat MacLean and his special brother in law, Barry MacLean, who he always considered a &ldquo;brother&rdquo;; stepbrothers, Paul (Audrey) and Keith (Elizabeth); two nieces, Kimberley Boutilier (Eastern Passage) and Heather MacLean (California) and several great nieces and nephews. <br />Besides his parents he was predeceased by his stepmother, Sadie, his sisters, Carol and Helen, and stepsister, Beverley. <br />There will be no visitation by request. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 13, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery on Sackville Drive. Family flowers only. Arrangements are under the care of Atlantic Funeral Homes, Sackville Drive. Donations in Kevin&rsquo;s memory can be made to a charity of one&rsquo;s choice.</div>
