<div itemprop="description"> <p> Josey-McAllister, Linda Ruth &ndash; June 04, 1950-August 30, 2012, the youngest daughter of the late Leyland and Muriel (Sturmy)&nbsp; Josey died after a courageous battle against ovarian cancer. She is survived by her loving husband, Peter; son, Daniel and wife Amy as well as daughter, Rebecca. She is also survived by her sisters, Joan, Dorene, Murna (Muray) Nelson, Carol (Ronald) Scanlan and her brother, Grant (Merri-Ann) As well, she is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Linda was a dedicated teacher at Sycamore Elementary School in Lower Sackville for over 30 years. She loved children and was a true friend to her students, fellow teachers, friends and family. Thanks to Dr. Trager, the doctors and nurses at the Nova Scotia Cancer Clinic and especially Pharmacist Karen Duggan. Thanks as well to her friends and neighbours who called or visited this summer. This absolutely brightened Linda&rsquo;s final days. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 4th, at 11 a.m. in Birch Cove Baptist Church, Donaldson Drive, Birch Cove, Pastor John Wilton officiating. A reception will follow in the church hall.
