<div itemprop="description">Michael Joseph Curwin <br />Michael Curwin of Porters Lake passed away peacefully away May 15, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family. Michael was born in Halifax February 28, 1960 to William and Corrine Curwin. Michael was a loving man who loved to watch hockey, especially the Montreal Canadians, he also loved to watch Nascar and fishing with his sons and grandsons. Michael is survived by his dedicated wife Danita Curwin, son josh (Terri) Curwin, daughter-in-law Laura Curwin; 2 grandsons Michael and Austin; 3 granddaughters Makayla, Jenna and Abbigale; sisters Carolyn (John) Marsh, Joyce Curwin and Lynn Curwin; brother Billy Curwin, and many nieces and nephews. Michael is predeceased by son Private John Michael Roy Curwin, KIA Afghanistan 2008, granddaughter Autumn Rose Michelle Curwin, and mother-in-law Georgina Dent. Special thanks to Dr. Lorne Marsh for the great care and compassion given to Michael. Visitation will take place Saturday May 18 from 2-4pm and 7-9 pm, funeral service Sunday 1:30pm all in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville Rev. James Haughn officiating.
