Hospital in Halifax, N.S. on Friday, July 27th, 2012.&nbsp; Born in Truro, N.S., she was the daughter of Charles Albert Works and Helen (Bayer) Works.&nbsp; Throughout her life she worked in the hotel, restaurant and accounting professions.&nbsp; She was a past President of The Moncton Motorcycle Touring Club.&nbsp; She is survived by her husband Dale Powers of Bedford, N.S. &amp; Amarillo, TX; daughter by marriage, Lisa (Powers) Harris, Dieppe, N.B.; son by marriage, Kevin Powers, Moncton, N.B.; sisters Heather Works, Truro Heights, Darlene (Works) Spicer, Debert, Rosalie (Works) Griffin, Londonderry; brothers Darrell Works, Londonderry, Raymond Works, Truro Heights, Lawrence Works, Truro Heights, Brent Works, Belmont; grandchildren Anna Powers, Luke Powers, Gabrielle Powers, Cassia Powers, Moncton, N.B., Samuel Harris, Anabelle Harris, Dieppe, N.B. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.&nbsp; She is predeceased by father, Charles and sister, Marilyn.&nbsp; Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, August 3rd, 2012 at Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville, N.S., with a reception to follow.&nbsp; Rev. James Haughn officiating.&nbsp; Burial in Oakridge Memory Gardens, 1078 Old Sackville Road, Middle Sackville, N.S.
