Of Kinsac, Halifax Co. passed away on February 18, 2015 at the scene of a car accident on Beaver Bank Road at 5:30 p.m. at the age of 72. He was the only child of the late Carl Isnor and Doris (Isnor) Sampson. Owen is survived by his beloved wife Evelyn Daisy Isnor, his loving son Terry Owen Isnor and his son by choice Robbie Saucier, his three grandchildren Tiana Ooloosie Parr, Tim Ottokie, Joe Brannen, and his great-grandchild Ava Kelly Christensen. Owen was pre-deceased by his step-father Albert Sampson. Owen retired from the Nova Scotia Power Corporation in 1997 then he became involved with local and federal politics, AA, the Special Olympics and all community activities. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and he will be remembered for his generosity and devotion to helping everyone in need. A visitation for Owen will be held on Saturday, February 28 at Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr., at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Rev. James Haughn officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. For those wishing, donations to the Special Olympics would be appreciated.
