HEADING, Patricia Aldred
We the family of Patricia Aldred Heading (59) regret to announce her passing at home in Mount Uniacke with her family at her side after a long illness. Born in Sydney, Nova Scotia she was a daughter of Gordon Heading and the late Elsie Heading (Burns). Patricia lived a full rich life of work and travel. In her early career days, she followed in her parents footsteps and brought the full force of her energy, knowledge and personality to the hospitality industry. She managed several properties in both Sydney and Halifax. She then moved to her true passion, working with animals. She worked with her husband Dr. Paul R. Kendall managing the Sackville Animal Hospital and creating Kibbles and Clips a pet supply and grooming establishment. Her love and compassion for animals was beyond compare both at work and at home. She and Paul raised and loved many family pets. Patricia carried each one in her heart forever. Patricia will be remembered and missed by her family members Reggie and Priss who were with her at the end. Surviving are her beloved husband Dr. Paul R. Kendall; father, Gordon Heading; siblings, Sharon (Bill MacKinnon), Wanda (Peter Blom), James (Liz), Graham (Darlene); nieces, Stephanie, Jamie, Tiffany, Tanya, Jacquelyn and nephews, Adam, Geoffrey, Jim, and Josh. Patricia will be deeply missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and close friends. Predeceased by her mother Elsie, and her niece Nicole Costello.
