<div itemprop="description">BERRIMAN, Pearl Elizabeth<br>Of Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the age of 78. Pearl was the beloved wife of the late Gerald R. Berriman. Born in New Glasgow, a daughter of the late Clifford and Clara Reddick, she later moved to Halifax where she began her career firstly as a school teacher, then moving on to nursing and eventually as a technician at the V.G and the New Infirmary until her retirement. During her life, Pearl made many life-long friends, she enjoyed the friendship of both colleagues and families she looked after. She was a long-time member of the CWL at St. John Vianney Church, as well as volunteering her time as a Board Member of Halifax Crime Stoppers. She was an advocate for being a good Christian and neighbour to everyone. She will be deeply missed by her children Gerald (Sharon), John-Paul, Marina, Tonya (Keith Beals), and Clifford (Shiela Royles); grandchildren, Germaine, Blake, Shaila, Andreas, Tamara, Bradley “BJ”, Janel, Haley, and Savanah; 8 great-grandchildren; and 10 siblings. <br>Predeceased by her grandson John-Paul; and brother Clifford. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 2 from 6-8 p.m. in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr, Lower Sackville. The funeral Mass will take place on Friday, March 3 at 11 a.m. in St. John Vianney Church, 4 Beaver Bank Rd, Lower Sackville. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or The Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
