<div itemprop="description">CONNOLLY, Richard (Rick) Andrew (The Fonz/Dickie/Liverlips) &ndash; Sackville, surrounded by wife and children, joined the heaven of angels April 27th, 2015.Rick was predeceased by his beloved father Cyril, mother Jeanette (ne: LaVoie), and bothers Gary and Patrick. Born in Halifax on February 7th, 1956, Rick leaves behind his wife and best friend of 31 years Terry Lynn Connolly (Boggs), beautiful children, Dwayne Chatman (Stephanie), Tara Adamson, Scott, Amy (Brendon) and stepson Nick (Erin) Creaser. Surviving are brother, Michael, Best Sister-In-law ever Paula Connolly and favorite Brother In-law little Mikey Boggs-Boutilier. He leaves behind his adored Granddaughter; Brooklyn, Grandsons; Brady, Cole and Step-Grandsons Dylan and Noah. Nieces and nephews; Jean (Jay) Barthelotte, Angela (Chris) White, Adam, Nathaniel, Poppy, Johnathan, Joel, and Amanda. Great nieces Renee and Kristen. Rick was a chef by trade and attended NSIT Culinary school however, he worked at Halifax Cablevision, Halifax and Harbourview Chrysler and ended his career at Atlantic Tractors and Equipment as warranty supervisor for 22 years. Rick was a musician and played bass guitar with the &ldquo;Echoes&rdquo; for 13 years. His greatest joys were playing horse shoes, watching his favorite hockey team &ldquo;Toronto Maple Leafs&rdquo; and having Crib night in the &ldquo;Shed&rdquo; with the Boys! He loved to tinker around with cars and carpentry. Rick loved and adored his family and friends and always made time with his best buds; Frank MacDonald (Lumex/Herman), Ugene Arsenault (Beannie), Brian McCarthy (Brain), Greg Rafuse (Bones), Dave (Headly) &amp; Kevin Cleveland (Nutsy), Kevin Shea, Clifford Daley, Dave LeBlanc, Dave MacDonald, Rich Ritchie. These lifetime band of brothers were his true inspirational angels, providing Rick with their greatest love and laughs that life had to offer. Life didn&rsquo;t get any better than this! Thank you to ALL staff of the Vascular unit 4.1 QEII Infirmary for their wonderful care over the last 9 years and especially vascular specialists Dr. Jeremy Wood and his sidekick Wanda, Dr. Min Lee and Dr. Casey. Bless you all! Arrangements have been entrusted to Atlantic Funeral Home Sackville Chapel 125 Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville, N.S. were visitation will be held on Thursday April 30th at 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Service on Friday May 1st at 2 pm with reception to follow. Interment at a later date. Family flowers only.
