Richard O'Connell
April 23, 1935 - May 27, 2014
Richard O'Connell age 79 of Lower Sackville, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 in Infirmary Site, QEII Hospital.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Mary (Ryan) and Richard O'Connell, Senior. Along with Richard's parents he was also
predeceased by brothers Frank, Pat, Edward, Leo, Gerald, Joe; sisters Betty, Margaret and Anne.
Richard is survived by his wife Carol O'Connell. He was a loving father to four sons Shaune, Mike, Chris and Richard. He is also survived by his sister Helen Lockhart, Ontario.
Richard will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, great grandchildren his
many other family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9pm Friday, May 30 in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville. Funeral service will be 10am, Saturday, May 31, in St. Elizabeth Seton, 125 Metropolitan Avenue, Lower Sackville.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
