It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Thresa on Friday, January 23, 2015 at the VG Site, QE II Health Sciences Centre. Thresa will be sadly missed by her brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren and friends. Thresa is survived by her son, Wayne, Halifax; daughters, Dianne (Scott), Amanda (Barry), both of Sackville, Mary-Anne (Daryl), Halifax; grandchildren, Tiffany, Scott, Jessica, Ryan, Brittany, Christopher, Noah, Derrick and Dillon; great grandson, Gavin; sisters, Annie Hirtle (Sonny), Mount Uniacke, Betty Jean, Anna Marie, Marcella (Jim), all Sackville, Lisa, Hamilton Ont., Joanne, Mississauga, Ont., and Florence Richards, Halifax; brothers, Vincent (Judy), Carl, Thomas (Mary Anne), Sackville, James, Mount Uniacke, Carl (Sharon), Rodney (Lenka), both of Toronto. She is predeceased by her husband Dale; parents, Florence (Broderick) and Lewis MacDonald; sister, Diane McNeil and brothers, Tony and Lewis. Thresa was a kind soul who loved to dance and didn&rsquo;t like to miss her bingo games. A funeral service for Thresa will be held in the Chapel of Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville on Thursday, January 29 at 10 a.m. Interment to take place at a later date.
