<div itemprop="description">DRYSDALE, Carol Jean <br>It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of Carol Jean Drysdale “CJ” , age 66, on Thursday Nov 17, 2016. Carol Jean lived life to the fullest of her abilities with such a sense of humor, and so much courage and passion. <br>She is predeceased by her parents Robert and Emelyn Drysdale, her brother Gordon Drysdale and sister-in-law Kathy Drysdale. Surviving are brothers Peter Drysdale (Sandra) and Lester Drysdale (Valerie), several nieces and nephews, cousins and one of her greatest joys and companion, her dear little dog Molly. <br>Carol Jean was a health mentor with Dalhousie University Health Program, contributing to the education of future health care professionals, teaching them to remember that very sick patients, who are in constant pain, were not just patients, but people first. Thank you to the MEDICAL DAY UNIT Nurses for all the wonderful care provided to her over 20 years. "They were the most caring, sympathetic staff "- Carol saw them go from students to nurses, get married, have babies, retire and much more. "I loved you all". <br>BLOOD DONORS - "THANK YOU FOR KEEPING ME ALIVE FOR SO MANY YEARS. KEEP DOING WHAT YOU DO, THANK YOU" <br>Special thanks to the caring staff of NORTHWOOD HOMECARE especially Tracy Gough. Thank You. <br>Thank you to all her Doctors/Specialists, especially Dr. Andrew MacLean who was so good to her this past few months. <br>Thank you with all my heart to friends and family who helped me in countless ways this past few years. <br>Service to honour Carol's memory and life will held Friday Nov 25, 2016 at 1pm at Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia.
