JOLLYMORE, Dennis L.
Of Lower Sackville passed away surrounded by family at Ocean View Continuing Care Centre on Wednesday December 28, 2016. He was born in Mill Cove Lunenburg County on June 4, 1929 to Hattie Mabel (Jennings) and Wilbert Melbourne Jollymore. Dennis lived most of his life in Lower Sackville and worked as a qualified tradesman practicing carpentry. He was employed with Pyramid Structural Concrete for many years as a Mill Wright as well as serving as a Steward for his Union during that time. Dennis also enjoyed working on small engines, home improvements and maintaining the family cars. He could build or fix anything. The woods in Hants County were a place of retreat for him, and he continued his love of hunting and fishing in the woods up to this year. He also excelled at playing that jolly elf, Santa to all ages. To the very special staff of Harbour Side wing at Ocean View and to the individuals that cared for him, we send a warm and heartfelt Thank you. Your connection and love for Dennis gave him so much happiness words are unable to describe. Dennis was predeceased by his brothers Lawson and Lewis Jollymore. He is survived by his three children Garry (Kathleen Drysdale), Carol and Stephen (Donna) Jollymore, as well as grandchildren Jeffrey Lively (Tanya), Wessley McBurnie, Jennifer (Alex Moore), Jocelyn and Jinelle Jollymore and by his great grandchildren Jada Reid (Luke Brigley) and Kinsey and Ryder Jollymore –Hillier.
