<div itemprop="description">Earl Gray “Junior” Wilkinson, 1933-2017, finally passed away quietly Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017, at the Victoria General Hospital after enduring a long emotional and physical ordeal. His loving daughters supported him throughout at home for as long as possible with the help of friends. Junior was born in the shadow of the No. 2 Colliery in Glace Bay where he developed a love of travel. He was the son of the late Elizabeth (Binder) and Earl Wilkinson. He fell in love with Annette LeRoux and was wedded in Glace Bay.<br>Junior was very proud of his military service (Egypt, Korea, Germany) and known by all as a real gentleman. His hard work resulted in three daughters gaining university, which he could never have dreamed of for himself. He leaves his daughters, Debbra (David Dawe) Wilkinson, Amherst; Nancy (Wilson<br>deceased) Wilkinson-MacDonald, Hammonds Plains; Belinda Wilkinson, Clementsport; his dearly loved grandson, Forrest Dawe; sisters, Eunice (Albert deceased) Young, Barbara (Ernie) Conron, both of Glace Bay, Gloria Leone (Cecil) Kelly (deceased); brother, Raymond<br>(Josephine) Wilkinson, Newfoundland. Junior was predeceased by his wife, Annette in 2007. He will be buried at her side in Oakridge Memorial Gardens, Lower Sackville, Tuesday January 10th at 1 pm. All are welcome. <br></div>
