James "Jim" Henebury
October 12, 1947 - September 12, 2016
Henebury, James “Jim” Joseph - Age 68, passed away peacefully at the QEII Hospital Halifax Infirmary site after a sudden, yet brief battle with cancer. Born in Point May, Newfoundland, October 12, 1947, he was the son of the late Effie (Noseworthy) and Thomas Henebury. He was predeceased by his sister, Kathleen Drysdale; brother, William; sister-in-law, Sharon. He leaves behind his loving wife, April Dawn (Amey); three children, Clara Ellen (29), Eran James (28) and Thomas Charles (26); brothers, Raymond Noseworthy (Kathleen), twin, John (Valerie), Arthur, Carl (Paulette); sister, Margaret Pye (Pat); many nieces and nephews. Jim spent most of his career working at Glidden Paint and was the family’s official expert on all things paint. Jim loved fishing with his buddies and was an avid amateur astronomer. Most of all, Jim was proud of his children and loved spending time with his family. Rest in peace and love, Jim. Visitation will be held from 6-9 pm Wednesday September 14th at Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr., Lower Sackville, where a memorial service will take place at 2 pm Thursday, September 15th. Reverend David Maginley officiating. Interment will follow in Oakridge Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations towards Jim’s funeral costs would greatly appreciated by his family.
