<div itemprop="description">Clayton, Lloyd Edward <br>72 of Lower Sackville NS passed away peacefully at home on October 16, 2016. <br>Born in Hampton, Annapolis County, he was the son of the late Gordon and Charlotte (Fash) Clayton <br>Lloyd is survived by his loving wife of 22 years Catherine; sons, Leonard (Robin); Ron (Vivian); daughter, Erin; grandchildren Matthew, Alyshia, Justin, Becky and Morgan; sisters, Audrey Bent, Bridgetown; and Iva (Rolland) Clayton, Parker's Cove. <br>He was predeceased by his daughter, Mary; brother, Floyd; sister, June. <br>Lloyd worked for 37 years for the city of Halifax as an outside worker. Lloyd enjoyed his job and the comradery with his workmates and refused to retire. Lloyd would talk to anyone, especially if they had a dog, and he'd do anything for anyone. <br>He loved his family, a good yard sale and bluegrass music and festivals. He loved cars, especially his mustangs, and anything Ford. He fulfilled his life-long dream with his wife this past June by attending the Barrett Jackson inaugural car show in Connecticut. One of Lloyd's greatest habits was to sit with a nice cup of coffee at Tim Horton's and have many varied discussions about car, trucks, engines. <br>In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the SPCA. <br>A celebration of Lloyd's life will be held at the Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville on Friday October 21st at 2pm.
