<div itemprop="description">Our Dad, Richard David Todd of Middle Sackville N.S. passed June 30th, 2016 at Hants Community Hospital in Windsor N.S. Richard was born in 1942 and was the son of the late William and Gertrude Todd. He is survived by his son, Stephen David Todd (wife Heather) of Ellershouse N.S. and his daughter, Tanya Lee Todd (partner Ben Taylor) of Falmouth N.S. He is also survived by his two grandsons Terrance (Terry) David Todd, Shane Stephen Todd and his sister Frances Redmond. Richard worked in the construction and elevator trade until his retirement in 2002 and was a member of the International Union of Elevator Constructors, Local 125. In earlier years Richard enjoyed activities such as: hunting, fishing, fly tying, gardening, playing baseball, and making wine. Richard loved spending time with his kitties: Henry, Maggie, and Fiddler. Particular thanks to Dad’s caregiver, our Mother, and the nurses and doctors at the Hants Community Hospital for their kindness and compassion towards our Dad during his last days. We will never forget Dad’s iron will and determination. Rest easy Dad and have fun fishing with your brothers: Mart, Ronnie, and Reg. Visitation will be held in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr. Lr. Sackville on Tuesday, July 5 from 6 -8 p.m. For those wishing, donations to the Salvation Army of Nova Scotia would be appreciated.
