<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Theodore (Ted) John Dehmel , age 69 of Fall River, Nova Scotia. He passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017 in the QE 2 Hospital surrounded by his family. Born in Halifax Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late Theodore and Isabel (Garth) Dehmel. He is survived by his loving wife Rose (MacLellan) of 49 years and children Ted (Crystal), Cold Brook; Debbie (Justin) Lefebvre, Middle Sackville; Michael (Tracey) Enfield; David (Erica), Middle Sackville; Jacqui (Tony), Bedford and Grandchildren: Kathleen, Mackenzie, Gabrielle, Owen, Gillian, Charlotte, Chloe, along with Extended family Grandchildren: Allison, Nicole, Kelsey, Kim, Melanie, Mya and Ace <br>Siblings: Carmen, Evelyn (Wally), Fred (Trish), Jack (Phil), Ron (Donna). He was predeceased by his sisters Mary and Karen, brother in law Joe MacLellan and granddaughter, Genevieve. <br>Ted was a family man that gave his time to help anyone that needed a hand. Through the years he loved hunting with his father, brothers and sons and camping with his children. He spent many hours in his workshop creating works of art or in his garage working on his cars. During his career that started with Dominion Stores and concluded with Farmers Dairy, he touched many lives. His dedication was obvious and admired by many. Ted always had a way of helping people become the best versions of themselves. Above all, his favorite way to spend his time was with his family. He will be greatly missed by all of those that love him, especially his wife, children and grandchildren. <br>Service Details: <br>Family Visitations will take place at Atlantic Funeral Homes at 125 Sackville Drive on Saturday 6-8 and Sunday 2-4 and 6-8. Funeral mass will take place Monday, February 6, 10am at St Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Fall River. Reception in church immediately after service. Burial will follow in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville. <br>Donations can be made to St Rose of Lima Catholic Church Parish Hall. <br>. <br></div>
