<div itemprop="description">MacPherson, Anne Elizabeth “Betty” – of Lower Sackville, passed away peacefully at Northwood Nursing Home Saturday April 1st, 2017 with family by her side. Born March 17th, 1932 she was the 2nd oldest daughter to the late Edmond and Rose Saulnier. She loved dancing with the Silver Strutters, playing bingo, bowling, darts, gardening, and loved her music. She was a member of the Sackville Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the 50+ club up until her illness. Anne leaves behind her sons, Joey (Lori), Bedford, Scott (Kathy), Lower Sackville; daughters, Heather (Cyril Taylor) Brown, Rawdon, Shelley (Gary) Brown, Goffs; sisters, Lorraine (Allan) Chapman, Gloria (Ken) Williams, Judy (Earl) Surrette; brother, Stan (Estelle) Saulnier; eight grandchildren, Michael, Alyssa, Scotty, Kyle, Sheldon, Cody, Jesse and Connor; four great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph; daughter, Joanne; sister, Paulette DeYoung; brother-in-law, Rudy DeYoung. Visitation will be held from 10 am to the time of the memorial service at 11 am Wednesday April 5th at Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr., Lower Sackville. A reception will follow the service. A private family interment will take place in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. We would like to thank the staff of Northwood Care Facility especially those of 9C for their constant attention and care over the past four years. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or charity of choice.</div>
