<div itemprop="description">GILLIS, Kevin Patrick- 44, Middle Sackville. It is with great sadness and extremely heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a dear and loving husband, father, son, sibling and friend. Kevin was with his wife Julie for 21 fabulous years. He was also a loving father and adored his 8 year old son Trey more than anything else in life. One of Kevin&rsquo;s true passions was family and friends - always looking after everyone, showing love and support. He found enjoyment and peace in all things outdoors- a trait that he has passed on to Trey. In the past few years Kevin, Julie and Trey found serenity in spending time with dear friends camping. Kevin was so easy to love, having such a kind heart and helping hands. He was a man who gave greatly of his time and heart. A non-judgemental person, he never met anyone who he did not consider friend. Kevin&rsquo;s memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him. He is also survived by his parents Mary and Patrick Gillis; sisters Corinna Gillis (Danny), Lisa Gillis (Wayne), Shannon Gillis, father-in-law Arthur Smith (Lorraine), mother-in-law Vivian Fenerty (Steve); brother-in-law Jeff Smith (Erin); many nieces and nephews and an abundance of cousins, aunts and uncles. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors on Friday, November 29, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Drive, where a memorial service will held Saturday at 10 am. Rev . James Haughn officiating. Interment in Oakridge Memory Gardens. A reception will follow in Upper Sackville Recreation Facility (Weir Field) 2476 Sackville Drive .
